Year 6 performed their end of year production at Bowburn Community Centre to a packed hall of parents and carers and for the rest of the school on Friday morning . It was the first Year 6 end of term play for three years due to the Covid pandemic – which was actually what the show was all about ! The children had everyone laughing in the aisles with scenes recalling home schooling ( shuddddder!) , TV briefings, Super Hero keyworkers and the battle at Tescos for toilet rolls !
Well done to our brilliant Year 6 children , who did themselves proud ! It’s been a hard time getting the children ready to perform due to all the transition days , illnesses etc , but many pupils stepped up to take on extra parts , often at the last minute.
A big thank you to Mrs Middleton, Mr Wilby, Mrs Gowran and Miss Wilson for all your hard work too .
