Bowburn Primary School are very proud to have been awarded the International School Award for ‘ Outstanding Development in the International Dimension’ in 2021. This award recognises the importance we place on developing links with our friends in other countries and especially our ongoing links with Gladstone Academy in Nepal.

Letters from Belgium
Just a few of the amazing letters Year 4 received from Palais School in Diepenbeek in Belgium.
A few years ago, Bowburn Infants took part in a British Council Comenius project with this school and we have remained in contact ever since.
Year 4 wrote letters describing what life is like for them during lockdown and these children replied in both English and their own language.

Sharing traditional tales
Year 2 acted out the traditional tale of The Three Little Pigs and shared it with the children at Gladstone Academy. They really enjoyed watching it!
Seahorses are so creative!
On Nepal Day, Seahorses were so careful and creative when making origami Lotus Flowers! They also designed their own Mehndi patterns.
